IT support for
manufacturing and distribution

IT that keeps orders moving out the door at Virginia plants and warehouses: wireless your scanners can count on, servers that stay up, and every location working from the same systems, so you can focus on growing the business.

How we support manufacturing and distribution

  • Plant and warehouse wireless designed around your racking
  • On-site servers, monitored and backed up
  • Secure connections between locations
  • Cabling and network racks cleaned up and labeled
  • Backup and recovery, including standby servers
  • Weekend work so the floor and the dock aren't disrupted
What we take off your plate

Fewer interruptions for your floor, warehouse and team

In our experience, these are the concerns that come up most for manufacturing and distribution businesses. Here is what working with us looks like for each one.

Every aisle connected
Problem: Scanners dropping off in the back aisles
How we help: Access points planned around your racking and building, so scanners and handhelds stay connected end to end.
Your systems stay up
Problem: One aging server running the whole operation
How we help: On-site servers monitored, maintained and backed up, with a plan for getting back up quickly if one fails.
Every site in sync
Problem: Each location doing things its own way
How we help: Secure connections between sites, so orders, inventory and email work the same everywhere.
Shipments keep moving
Problem: Ransomware the day a big order ships
How we help: Backups that can't be altered, email protection and monitoring, so an attack doesn't stop the line or the dock.
The software you already run

We support your stack so you can keep it.

Our IT support for manufacturing and distribution covers the computers, network, scanners and accounts your software runs on, all kept patched. When something breaks, we call the vendor so you don't have to.

The cost of doing nothing

What waiting costs you

Most owners start by asking what IT will cost. In our experience, the bigger number is what the current setup is already costing in time, focus and missed work.

Orders that miss the truckWhen scanners or the inventory system go down, orders wait, and so do your customers.
A team standing aroundPeople can't build, pick, pack or receive without the systems they depend on.
Your attentionEvery outage pulls you into fixing IT instead of running and growing the business.

With us: one local team owns your IT and handles problems before they reach you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does IT support for manufacturing and distribution include?

One team takes over the IT your plant, warehouse and office run on: servers, email and Microsoft 365, file storage, backups, computers and handheld scanners, the network and wireless, the firewall, and the calls to your internet provider. Everyone gets one help desk to call, for one flat fee per user each month.

Do you support our ERP, scanners and label printers?

Yes. We support what you already run, from NetSuite, Acumatica and Sage 100 to Fishbowl, Zebra and Honeywell scanners and label printers, instead of asking you to switch. We look after the computers, servers and network they depend on, and we deal with the vendor's support line when the problem is in their software.

Can the work happen without stopping the floor?

Yes. Work that would interrupt the floor or the dock, like replacing a server or changing the network, can be scheduled for a weekend. Everyday problems go to our help desk and are usually fixed remotely.

Where in Virginia do you provide IT support for manufacturing and distribution?

Our office is on Hull Street Road in Richmond, and we support manufacturers and distributors across Virginia, including Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Midlothian, Mechanicsville and Lynchburg. Our own team does the work, and when something needs hands on site, a technician from that team comes to your plant or warehouse.

What does IT support cost?

You pay one flat fee per user each month. It covers your Microsoft licensing, security tools and the help desk, with nothing billed by the hour on top. The fee depends on how many people and devices you have and what you run. Big projects like a migration or an office move are quoted separately at a fixed price you agree to before anything starts.
